Uist News, Friday 3rd May Another beautiful but breezy start to the day here on Uist this morning, it is forecast to remain bright and sunny for the rest of the day and the wind should hopefully calm down later on. Several moths were spotted on Uist last night, the Puss Moth, named after pussycats, was one of these which get their name due to being very fluffy, their legs and body are covered in dense white hair and even the wings look furry!
