Hebridean Smokehouse premium quality Scottish smoked salmon is made from the finest salmon, grown here in the Outer Hebrides. To make the very best smoked salmon you need exceptional fish and we only use our unique North Uist stock to make what Prue Leith calls “the best in the world”.
Our fish are reared in the pristine clean waters that flow between the small islands here on North Uist and the fast tidal flow and special diet produce lean and firm fleshed salmon perfect for us to smoke.
These exceptional fish are prepared for smoking entirely by hand before smoking over locally cut peat and then hand-sliced ready for you to enjoy. Our Traditional Peat Smoked Salmon is available as slices in two handy pack sizes as well as a range of whole hand-sliced sides and unsliced sides.
Our vacuum packs of premium peat smoked salmon carry a use-by date of 21 days fron dispatch and should be stored in a refrigerator immediately upon arrival. This unique high quality product is suitable for home freezing unopened with no loss of quality, taste or texture for up to 6 months.
