with Horseradish and Dill
Prime fillets of Uist sea trout are prepared by hand and dressed with a horseradish and dill preparation before a gentle peat smoking and roasting in the kiln.
This delicious island delicacy is made with our own special Uist sea trout that have their origins in the marine bays and kyles on the north-west side of our island.
Delicately textured and with a delicious savoury tang these ready to eat cooked fillets are perfect with a warm potato salad or dressed leaves or as part of a smoked fish smorgasbord.
Our peat Smoke Roasted Sea Trout leaves us with a 14 day use-by date and should be stored in a refigerator upon arrival. We do not recommend freezing this product as some loss of texture may occur.
